Battleford’s Union Hospital faces temporary Intensive Service disruption

Saskatchewan Health Authority issued a notice of intensive service disruption at Battleford’s Union Hospital on Aug. 15 due to unexpected physician unavailability.
According to the Authority, Battledord’s Union Hospital is open, and obstetrical services are available. However, people requiring intensive care may be transferred to other hospitals, including Royal University Hospital, St Paul Hospital, and Lloydminster Hospital.
The service disruption will last for two days, starting from 10 a.m. on Aug. 15 until 10 a.m. on Aug. 17.
