Drugs and weapon seized during Meadow Lake police checkup
According to a release from the RCMP, a Meadow Lake resident was the subject of an investigation that resulted in the seizure of drugs, a weapon, and trafficking paraphernalia.
On August 3, 2024, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team (CRT) visited the residence in Meadow Lake to check on an individual’s adherence to court-ordered conditions.
The conditions included a provision that allowed police officers to search the individual’s person, residence or vehicle without a warrant. During their investigation police located and seized approximately 11 grams of crack cocaine, trafficking paraphernalia, an illegally-modified firearm with the serial number defaced and ammunition.
