Two teenagers – one carrying a knife – were arrested in Sasktoon yesterday after robbing a seven-year-old girl’s lemonade stand in the city’s Westview neighhbourhood.

Officers were called to the home by the girl’s parents after they learned of the robbery.

The teens, one age 14 and one aged 16, took juice, candy and money from the girl and then fled the scene.

A description of the suspects helped officers find the suspects in the 400 Block of Confederation Driver.

The 14-year-old had a knife and is now charged with carrying a concealed weapon and breaching a court order.

The 16-year-old was arrested on outstanding warrants.

SPS commended the girl’s parents for reporting the incident quickly, which they say was crucial to finding the suspects.

If you see suspicious activity, remember to report anytime to 306-975-8300 or by calling 9-1-1 in an emergency.
