Wade Frenchman committed to trial, charged with three murders

Wade Frenchman has been committed for trial to the Court of King’s Bench after being charged with three murders in May.
The man from Moosomin First Nation was scheduled to make his first appearance via video conference Thursday morning at the North Battleford Provincial Court.
According to the RCMP, he was charged with first-degree murders in the Dec., 24, 2021 deaths of Daphne Bear and Alyssa LeCaine following a house fire along with the June., 4, 2023 death of Tyler Mooswa – whose death was “deemed suspicious” after his body was discovered in an outdoor area on the Moosomin First Nation.
Meanwhile, the next court date is set for June., 21 to have the direct indictment spoken to at Court of King’s Bench.
