Picture it.

A hot Saskatchewan summer day and you’re cruising down to the lake in a custom Jeep Trailhawk. Feel the cool breeze from the A/C, hear the amped up stereo blasting your favorite station – 93.3 Beach Radio, and see your worries disappear in the rear-view mirror.

That dream can become a reality with the launch of Pattison Media’s Summer Free Ride giveaway. Over the course of the next few months, there will be several opportunities to qualify for the main draw that will take place in September when one lucky winner drives away in their new-to-them vehicle.

“Several local businesses played a part in the building of this 2016 Jeep Trailhawk – from detailing, gas, parts and servicing, insurance, body work and protective film, signage when we’re out on location, new tires and rims, a stereo system upgrade…literally thousands of dollars has been spent to get this vehicle to like new condition,” said Pattison Media station manager Mike Aimoe.

The contest officially launches Saturday when the vehicle will be on location at Canadian Tire between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

“It’s the biggest prize we give away – bar none,” said 93.3 Beach Radio morning show host Nic Fransoo. “Even before our partners got their hands on it to juice it up this vehicle was worth over 16,000 dollars. You got to be crazy to not want to win this, and entry is completely free.”

Fransoo said to look for the Summer Free Ride out and about all summer long, and to put your name in the draw any time you find it. If your name gets pulled, that makes you one of 93 ultra lucky finalists. You can find a schedule of all the summer stops by visiting 933beachradio.ca

The last time this contest ran, about 10,000 entries were made. Fransoo expects to see those numbers increase this year as more people catch a glimpse of the prize vehicle.

The final draw for the Summer Free Ride takes place Sept. 7.
