NDP Leader Beck hopes for improvements to healthcare, education
Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck is raising her concerns about improvements needed to healthcare and education in the Battlefords and Meadow Lake area.
She plans to travel across the province this summer to hear residents’ issues as she hits the campaign trail.
“We’ve been really focused on outreach and connecting with communities and businesses and front-line workers right across the province for a number of years,” Beck said. “The concerns we’ve been raising in the Legislature around cost-of-living, around healthcare and education certainly have been built from listening to people in the province and hearing [what] their concerns and their solutions are.”
She said now that the last day of session was held Thursday, the Sask. NDP will continue with its outreach work more as it gets closer to the next provincial election, expected to be held Oct. 28.
