Police ask for public’s help to find suspect in alleged armed robbery

Police are asking for the public’s help after an armed robbery in the local area.

On May 10 at about 2:20 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a shot being fired at a home in North Battleford.

After responding to the incident, police located an injured man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.

After investigating, they determined an altercation occurred between two men. A firearm was discharged and one man was injured.

As a result of their continued investigation, police charged 28-year-old Jordan Pritchett from North Battleford with: aggravated assault; pointing a firearm; possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; possess weapon when knowing possession unauthorized; possession of a restricted firearm/prohibited weapon with ammunition without licence/registration; carrying a concealed weapon; possess firearm contrary to order; discharge firearm with intent; and robbery with a firearm.

Battlefords RCMP are still trying to find and arrest Jordan Pritchett.

Pritchett is about 5’10″, and 141 lbs. He has brown eyes and hair that is described as dyed red. He has multiple tattoos on his hands.
