City approves new land sale on Buhler Bay

There will be another property to develop in North Battleford now the city has approved a land sale for its lot at Buhler Bay.

City Director of Engineering, Planning, Asset Management and Infrastructure James Johansen presented the offer to purchase for a property at 2318 Buhler Bay at Monday’s council meeting.

Johansen said the site would be developed for a single family home.

The original prices for the land was $98,000. The city then listed it for sale at $83,000. The offer to purchase the land came in at $80,000.

After some discussion, council accepted the proposed offer for the sale.

“We’re selling another lot; it’s fantastic,” Mayor David Gillan said after the meeting. “Different ways of developing housing – single dwelling homes. It’s all great. We’re very happy to see investment in the community.”
