North Stars first-round schedule set versus Millionaires

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) recently announced its schedule for the opening round of the 2024 playoffs, with quarter-finals action to begin across the province this weekend.

The fourth-seeded Battlefords North Stars (36-15-5) will host the fifth-place, Melville Millionaires (32-23-1) for the opening two games of the teams’ best-of-seven series in North Battleford this Friday and Saturday, with the full series schedule available below:

GM 1: Friday, March 22 MLV @ BAT in North Battleford (7:30 p.m. start; 7 p.m. pregame)

GM 2: Saturday, March 23 MLV @ BAT in North Battleford (7:30 p.m. start; 7 p.m. pregame)

Each of the North Stars’ playoff games will be available on the NAPA Auto Parts North Stars Hockey Broadcast on 1050 CJNB. The Ultra Print Pregame Show will begin 30 minutes prior to puck drop each night.

In other quarter-finals action around the league, the #1 Flin Flon Bombers (44-9-3) will play the #8 Kindersley Klippers (23-26-7); the #2 Melfort Mustangs (38-14-4) will face the #7 Estevan Bruins (26-26-4); and the #3 Humboldt Broncos (37-15-4) will play the #6 Weyburn Red Wings (26-24-6).
