City plans to install new traffic lights this week

Mar 11, 2024 | 12:53 PM

Residents can expect to see some delays at the north end of the city this week as crews will be onsite installing new light standards.

The City of North Battleford says drivers can expect disruptions at the intersection of 100th Street at Territorial Drive and Highway 4 North in North Battleford.

The work will start today with site preparations.

On Tuesday and Wednesday crews will install the poles. People can expect lane closures and flaggers stopping traffic as required.

On Thursday crews will remove the old poles, and look after the programming and maintenance of the new lights.

Then, on Friday workers will clean up the site and remove their equipment.

During this installation work and while the roads are icy, the city is asking motorists to drive with caution, and to carefully follow the instructions of the flaggers in this area.
