Feb 9, 2024 | 4:52 PM

Loon Lake RCMP are asking for help from the public finding a man wanted on a number of charges including flight from a peace officer.

On Friday, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Loon Lake detachment, Police Dog Services, and Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team attended a home on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation to arrest a wanted man.

When the officers approached the home, the man fled on a quad. They then used a remotely piloted aircraft and located him at a second residence. Officers approached him and told him he was under arrest, but he fled again on a quad.

After investigating, Loon Lake RCMP charged 31-year-old Christian Mitsuing with flight from a peace officer; resisting a peace officer; operation of a conveyance while prohibited, and failing to comply with a probation order.

A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Mitsuing is also wanted on warrants for charges including possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and flight from a peace officer in relation to incidents in the Loon Lake detachment area in 2023.

He’s described as about 5’10” and 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous face tattoos, including two stars above one eyebrow.

If you see Mitsuing or know where he is, contact Loon Lake RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
