RCMP investigating suspicious death after human remains found on Red Pheasant

An investigation is ongoing following the discovery of human remains near a home in Red Pheasant Cree Nation.

An autopsy, which was performed on Wednesday, identified the deceased as 44-year-old Candie Pritchard of Rabbit Lake. Her death is being treated as suspicious.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts between New Year’s Day and when her body was discovered is asked to call Battlefords RCMP at 306-446-1720 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
