Turtleford RCMP investigating ATM theft; looking for four suspects

Jan 4, 2024 | 7:50 PM

Turtleford RCMP are investigating an ATM theft following a break and enter at a Paradise Hill business.

On Thursday morning, two vehicles and four people were involved in the theft. According to police, the first vehicle “reversed into the building and the ATM was stolen” by the four masked suspects who made their escape with a second vehicle going west on Highway 3.

The empty ATM machine was later found near Kitscoty, AB.

The investigation is ongoing and police ask that people not approach the vehicle or four suspects as they had a firearm and could still be carrying it.

Three of the four suspects can be seen in a photo supplied by the police.

Suspect one is roughly 6’0” with a medium build. He was seen with a royal blue jacket with stripes, a gray toque, and dark coloured pants with white stripes down the side. They were also wearing yellow gloves and has a walking cast or a boot on their left foot.

Suspect two is also about 6’0” and has a similar build to the first. They were wearing a black jacket, a grey coloured baseball cap, and white soled running shoes.

Suspect three is described as slightly taller than the others but also has a medium build and is wearing a black hat and black hoodie with white arm stripes, black shoes, and grey sweats.

The fourth suspect could not be seen as they stayed in the truck.

Meanwhile, one of the vehicles is from Alberta but was found in Saskatchewan. The second is a four-door white truck with a flat-deck.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
