RCMP Fill-the-Cruiser collects hefty donation for local Food Bank

The Battlefords RCMP’s Fill-the-Cruiser event had another successful year.
The fundraiser was held on Dec. 9 to help stock the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre’s shelves this holiday season.
“It took over an hour for nine people to load it all into a truck to take it to the Food Bank,” Sgt. Chris Stephens said. “We’re so thankful to the community members and local businesses who showed their kindness and generosity. We’re proud to be part of this community.”
Officers collected donations outside Wal-Mart, Sobeys and the Discovery Co-op Food Store in North Battleford.
