School division chairs Pethick and Weber both acclaimed to posts

The Living Sky School Division has a chair and vice chair to lead them into a new year.

During the Wednesday, Nov. 8 organizational meeting, North Battleford’s Shaun Weber and Ronna Pethick were once again named vice chair and board chair respectively and both by acclimation.

This marks Weber’s third year as vice and Pethick’s eight as chair to lead the nine-member team and in a news release, Weber said, “It is a great honour to have the board place their trust in me to serve as vice chair, I look forward to continuing to advocate for students, parents, and the staff of [the division] at the provincial level.”

BattlefordsNOW reached out for comment from Weber but had not heard back at time of publication.

Sub-Division-Four Trustee Pethick, meanwhile, said she once again looks forward to working with the trustees and appreciates the support.
