RCMP searching for man after alleged assault at Big River

One man is wanted by Big River RCMP as they are investigating an alleged assault in the town from last month.

Police said that on Oct. 10, one man approached a home in the community and damaged it, setting a small fire inside it.

He then assaulted one of the occupants of the home.

Now, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Elvis Dreaver, 35.

He faces charges of arson, mischief, and assault with a weapon. He is also wanted by Big River RCMP for violating the conditions of a temporary leave from a correctional facility.
