Marauders and Vikings fall in NSFL action

There were some highs and lows on Friday night as the North Sask. Football League was back on the gridiron.

The St. Mary Marauders played in an exhibition match on Friday, losing 21-14 in overtime to Walter Murray Collegiate from Saskatoon.

The Marauders begin their regular season in the newly formed North Sask. Football League on Sept. 22 in the annual Canadian Tire Classic in Prince Albert.

The Crusaders won last year’s classic 51-14 while St. Mary took the 2021 title 35-14.

Elsewhere in the NSFL, North Battleford Comprehensive started their regular season on the road in Lloydminster.
