RCMP investigating bear spray incident at Northwest Territorial Days in North Battleford

Battlefords RCMP are investigating after someone set off bear spray at a public event.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 18 at the fairgrounds in North Battleford, which was hosting Northwest Territorial Days at the time.

Three youth were hit by the spray and received first aid at the scene. Police believe there were additional victims who haven’t come forward.

The suspect is described as having long black hair and was seen wearing brown pants and a black hooded sweater.
