Terry Blanchette Memorial Golf Tourney a hit for Humane Society
More than 100 golfers came out to participate in the inaugural Terry Blanchette Memorial Golf Tournament, Monday.
The event, which serves as a new fundraiser for the Battlefords Humane Society, was held at the Jackfish Lodge and Conference Centre, kicking off with breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by a shotgun start on the golf course at 11 a.m.
The course featured various games and challenges throughout the day, from the “Fastest Hole in Golf,” to a 10K Hole in One, $2,500 50/50 guarantee, and different hole activities.
Current manager at the Battlefords Humane Society, Chloe Lloyd said it was great to see so many out to take part in the fundraiser in its first year.
