A drawing of a man believed to be involved in an attempted kidnapping in North Battleford two days ago has been made public.

RCMP are looking for an older Caucasian man who stands about 5’6” with grey, balding hair and a white beard.

He was driving a black Mazda CX5 and approached a teenaged girl 110th Street and St. Laurent drive on Tuesday, between 3:00 and 3:30 pm.

He asked the girl if she wanted money and she continued walking. About two blocks later, near 113 Street, he attempted to grab her but she ran for help and he drove away. Police have obtained security footage of the area.

RCMP are asking parents to adyouth to exercise caution if approached by strangers in a vehicle. If anyone sees this vehicle, police advise to not approach it, and report it immediately.

Also, if anyone has home or business video surveillance in this area, they are asked to check it and report any captured sightings of this incident/vehicle to police.

Anyone with information should call North Battleford RCMP or Crime Stoppers. In an emergency, call 9-1-1.
