Police asking for help in North Battleford homicide

North Battleford RCMP are seeking the public’s help regarding a death that happened on Friday night.

Shortly after 11:00 p.m., RCMP responded to a call of an injured person outside a home on the 1400 block of 114th Street in North Battleford. Upon arrival, police provided medical assistance to the victim until EMS got to the scene.

Despite their efforts, the victim, 32-year-old Kaylee Crookedneck from Ministikwan Lake Cree Nation, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her death is being treated as a homicide.

Police are releasing the victim’s information in an effort to assist with the investigation.

Anyone with information about the investigation are being asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
