Riders broadcast still available via 1050 CJNB online stream/App

Radio listeners in the Battlefords and area may have noticed 1050 CJNB not coming through of late on their radio dial.

This is due to a recent lightning strike that caused damage to the CJNB transmitter. Large-scale repairs are underway and CJNB will return to the airwaves as soon as possible.

In the meantime, Riders fans need not fret, as even the storm couldn’t rain on Riders gameday this weekend.

CJNB is the voice of the Roughriders in the Northwest and the broadcast is still available via live stream at CJNB.ca and with the free CJNB App.

The Riders open their schedule Sunday evening in Edmonton against the Edmonton Elks. The CJNB Tailgate Party begins at 2 p.m. with the countdown to kickoff at 4 p.m., and kickoff at 5 p.m.
