Two people seriously hurt in North Battleford vehicle rollover

A man and a woman were seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover in North Battleford.

It happened Wednesday afternoon in a community neighbourhood with one resident in the area saying the SUV almost hit her home.

North Battleford RCMP said the cause of the incident is still under investigation, though it did appear the vehicle hit a fence and collided with a tree. At this time, drugs and alcohol aren’t believed to be a factor.

Members of the Saskatchewan RCMP Collision Reconstruction Unit did an investigation, with the area since being re-opened to traffic.

Meanwhile, the RCMP doesn’t have an update on the man and woman’s condition.
