North Stars outlook for 2023 SJHL Draft

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s next wave of young talent will hear their names called Thursday, at the 2023 SJHL Draft.

Beginning at 1 p.m., the draft will feature six rounds of players born in 2007, followed by another two rounds of those born in 2008.

The North Stars enter the day with eight selections total, including six in the ‘07s Draft, and two in the ‘08s. The full breakdown can be found below.

North Stars draft picks:

2007 Draft:

Round 1 – Pick 7 (7th overall)

Round 1 – Pick 12 (12th overall)

Round 2 – Pick 12 (24th overall)

Round 3 – Pick 12 (36th overall)

Round 4 – Pick 12 (48th overall)

Round 6 – Pick 12 (72nd overall)

2008 Draft:

Round 1 – Pick 12 (84th overall)

Round 2 – Pick 12 (96th overall)
