Pierceland RCMP charge man for allegedly robbing business while armed with knife

RCMP have arrested a 30-year-old man who allegedly robbed a business at knifepoint.

Around 9 p.m. on May 25^th, police in Pierceland received a report about a potential robbery near Highway 21.

They determined a man, armed with a knife, entered the business and demanded cash. No one was injured during the incident.

RCMP eventually arrested Kelvin Crookedneck, from Island Lake First Nation, and charged him with robbery with an offensive weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and obstructing a peace officer.

He’s scheduled to make his next court appearance in Meadow Lake on June 1.
