North West Stars player selected in first round of WHL Bantam Draft

A North West Stars standout player is off to the west coast after he was selected in the first round of the WHL Bantam Draft.

Kash Alger-East of Meadow Lake was drafted 25^th overall by the Victoria Royals in Thursday’s draft.

The member of the Battlefords North West Stars U15 AA team had 35 goals and 44 assists last season along with 57 penalty minutes.

In the 2021/22 season, Alger-East racked up 10 goals and 30 assists in 28 games played.
