Kotai shuts door, North Stars blank Bombers 3-0 in Game 2
Goaltender Josh Kotai stoped all 36 shots he faced Saturday night, for his third shutout of the playoffs, to lead the Battlefords North Stars to a 3-0 win in Game 2 of their SJHL Finals series with the Flin Flon Bombers.
With the win, the Stars now lead the best-of-seven championship series 2-0, winning each of their two games on home ice this weekend to kick things off, heading into the scene shift for Games 3 and 4 next weekend in Flin Flon.
With another 36-save shutout in Game 2 of the Finals, Stars’ goaltender Josh Kotai is now 10-1 with a 1.49 goals against average and .949 save percentage these playoffs.
