Laptops stolen from Meadow Lake school, RCMP investigating

Mar 31, 2023 | 2:10 PM

Meadow Lake RCMP are asking the public for help after a school in the community was broken into, sometime between the evening of Mar. 27 and the morning of Mar. 28.

Meadow Lake Christian Academy confirmed to meadowlakeNOW they were the school involved and whoever broke in and ended up taking 10 new laptops.

They estimate it will cost them between $5,000 and $6,000 to replace all of the computers.

The school also explained the suspect or suspects went through one of their doors. Exactly how they did that is currently unknown. They are planning on replacing the door.

Anyone with information such as potential video surveillance is asked to contact them at 306-236-2570 or anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
