Over 100 grams of crack cocaine were seized as part of a drug bust by Beauval RCMP.

Last Friday afternoon, police stopped a vehicle south of Beauval and arrested a man and woman on scene.

Police confirmed the pair were involved in an ongoing drug investigation.

When officers searched the vehicle, they found roughly 123 grams of crack cocaine.

The driver of the vehicle provided a roadside breath sample and failed. The vehicle was eventually towed and impounded.

Kim Wolverine and Frankie Bouvier were each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

Wolverine also faces a charge of impaired operation exceeding 80 mg while operating a motor vehicle.

Both Wolverine and Bouvier will make their first court appearance on March 15 in Beauval.
