Leanne Ducommun, Executive Director of Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation is pleased to announce that after a three year hiatus, the popular Ladies Night Event is back thanks to the continued support of Gold Sponsor G&C Asphalt.

G&C Asphalt, A Colas Company, is run by a close-knit group of people who are passionate about their work and community. G&C Asphalt started as a small paving/aggregate company over 30 years ago and, through their reputation for quality work, have grown into an organization that has operations going on in communities all throughout northwest Saskatchewan. G&C Asphalt has been a longtime supporter of BUH Foundation and we are grateful for their ongoing support.

Over the years BUH Foundation’s Ladies’ Night has grown to be an incredibly popular event.

This year’s Ladies’ Night – Studio 54 “Let’s Dance!” event will take place on Saturday, April 1^st at the Alex Dilabough Centre in Battleford. Ladies Night tickets are ON SALE! $60 each.

BUH Foundation would like to thank our Ladies’ Night Chairs Cheryl Mitchell and Barb Dekker along with committee members Joelle Kuntz, Tracy Voigt and Sherry Krelow for their time and dedication towards the success of Ladies Night.

Thank you to all of our contributors and the support of businesses and individuals; we are truly grateful for your continued support. Your generosity makes a difference in your community and will enrich health care as we raise funds towards the purchase of a Pyxis Med System for every department at Battlefords Union Hospital.

The two year fundraising commitment of $814,000 toward the purchase of the Pyxis system (an automated dispensing machine that provides secure medication storage along with electronic tracking of the use of narcotics and other controlled medications) is the largest capital campaign that the Foundation has committed to. We are excited to kick this campaign off with Ladies Night being our first initial fundraising launch.
