SPECIAL VISIT

Santa makes a visit to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital

Dec 22, 2022 | 8:00 AM

Kids at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital received a special visit from good ol’ St. Nick.

Santa Claus recently made a special trip to visit the children, families, and moms-to-be in the hospital.

Young patients at the hospital had a chance to visit Santa in the lobby and the Teammates for Kids Child Life Zone, where they told Santa what was on their wish list. The children also received a special gift and keepsake photo, thanks to the generosity of Graham Construction

Santa’s visit was just one part of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Project Holiday Joy initiatives, which aims to bring the joy and cheer of the holiday season to children and families in hospital.

“Project Holiday Joy activities at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital help lift the spirits of Saskatchewan children and their families who are unable to go home for the holidays,” said Brynn Boback-Lane, President & CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Thanks to our dedicated sponsors for supporting Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation and this very important initiative, letting our young patients know they are cared for, and supported, and that sickness doesn’t take a holiday, regardless of the season.”

The Holiday Market in the Teammates for Kids Child Life Zone was also open for patients and families to shop for a special gift for each other when they can’t leave the hospital. That market was made possible thanks to the generosity of Canpotex, one of the largest potash suppliers in the world.
