New book recounts memories of La Ronge home haunted by a poltergeist
A former resident of La Ronge has published a book recounting her experiences of living in a home in the community haunted by a poltergeist.
Published in October, the book is called Knock, Knock: The true story of a family in Northern Saskatchewan living with a poltergeist. It was written by Roxy Fisher, who moved into a house in La Ronge in 2004 and witnessed a ghostly apparition within days of doing so.
“It was the third night when I was sleeping and I had rolled over and looked up and it looked like there was half a body floating above me kind of studying me,” she said.
“I started putting things together and there were a lot of weird things. A wine glass went flying. A painting went flying off the wall and smashed on my counter. A lot of banging, weird sounds in the wall. Just too much stuff you can’t ignore.”
