One of the accused individuals facing a charge in connection with the Bradley John Ham homicide investigation was sentenced to four years in prison at North Battleford Provincial Court Monday.

Cassandra Fox, 26, who was originally facing a charge of first degree murder, instead pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of being an accessory after the fact to murder.

According to the court office, she was sentenced to 1,460 days, or four years, in custody for the accessory charge. When factoring in 518 days credit for time served, Fox has 942 days, or about two years and seven months, left to serve. She received a 10-year firearms prohibition.

A publication ban is in effect on the details of the proceedings until all the accused have gone through the court process.

Jonathan Swiftwolfe, 28, who is facing a charge of first degree murder in the case, will have his trial at Court of King’s Bench in Battleford, with the date still to be set.

RCMP previously reported a man was found deceased near a grid road about 30 kilometers southeast of Glaslyn on Nov. 27, 2020. He was identified as Bradley John Ham, 54, of the Prince Albert, North Battleford and Saskatoon areas.
