Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit has made another arrest in the investigation into the death of a Prince Albert woman near Maymont.

Police confirmed they arrested Cassidy Kiskotagan in North Battleford on Tuesday. She has since been charged with accessory after the fact, according to Thursday’s announcement.

On October 20, Dustin Cookman-Watts, 25, and Melissa Kaponyas, 18, were arrested in the case with Cookman-Watts eventually being charged with second-degree murder.

Wendy Bird’s body was found along Highway 16 on the morning of Oct. 16 near the village of Maymont.
