Battlefords area residents still have a chance to get in on the Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation’s 28th Annual $100,000 Cash Lottery.

The first deadline will be the Early Bird Deadline on Sept. 16th, with the draw to be held Sept. 23rd.

The foundation said supporters from across Saskatchewan purchased their tickets when it was announced more draws and packages were added to this year’s $100,000 Cash Lottery.

The Cash Lottery has 38 cash prizes valued over $170,000 in addition to a minimum guaranteed $25,000 prize for the 50/50 draw. The $100,000 Cash Lottery is the largest of the BUH Foundation’s six main fundraisers, which also include the Monthly Lottery, the On Air for Healthcare Radio-thon, Ladies Night, the Wayne Pruden Memorial Golf Tournament, and the Festival of Trees.

More details on the 2022 Cash Lottery are available on the BUH Foundation website.

Proceeds from the lottery will help purchase new LED surgical lighting for two of the operating theatres at the Battlefords Union Hospital.

“When someone buys a BUH Foundation Cash Lottery ticket, it’s a win/win in supporting major medical equipment upgrades that ensures you, your family, neighbours, and friends have access to the best care, as close to home as possible,” BUH Foundation Executive Director Leanne Ducommun said.

People can purchase their tickets at 306-446-6652 or 1-888-946-4284, online at: www.buhfoundation.com , or in person at the BUH Foundation Office or at Battleford Furniture.
