Meth, cocaine seized during trafficking arrest

Pierceland RCMP have arrested a man for drug trafficking.

On Tuesday, members executed a search warrant at a residence on First Street West in Pierceland, as part of an ongoing investigation, locating and seizing multiple illegal substances.

This included approximately 13.5 grams of crystal meth divided into small packages, two grams of cocaine, one gram of crack cocaine and trafficking paraphernalia.

“This seizure removes more than a hundred points, or doses, of methamphetamine from our area,” acting detachment commander, Cpl. David Horton, said in a media release. “Pierceland RCMP are committed to maintaining the safety of our local communities by targeting those who intend on introducing dangerous illicit drugs into them.”

As a result, 57-year-old Ted Lefebvre of Pierceland was charged with trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking. He will appear in court on Sept 20, 2022.
