Local residents will have more to do this fall now that the Downtown North Battleford Business Improvement District (BID) is planning a fun event next month.

The organization is getting set to hold its annual downtown festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 10.

“We are excited to be hosting the fall festival,” BID executive director Misty Lavertu said. “It will be great to have everyone downtown once again celebrating together.”

Registration is currently open for vendors and other participants.

The festival offers activities for people of all ages. There will be a fun petting zoo, face painting, and balloon-making demonstrations.

Some of the other highlights include musical entertainment, food trucks, vendors’ tables, and baking to enjoy.

“We are currently looking for vendors and food trucks to join us,” Lavertu said. “The more participation from the community the better the event will be.”

People can find out more about registering to participate or volunteer for the festival by visiting the North Battleford BID Facebook Page.
