Strong police presence in North Battleford

Police are actively engaged with an ongoing situation on 93rd St. in North Battleford.
Members of the Battlefords RCMP had the street closed off to traffic between 15th Ave and 16th Ave Wednesday afternoon, with several police vehicles and an ambulance at the scene. The back alley to the residence in question was also blocked off.
(Angela Brown/battlefordsNOW)At this time, no statement has been provided by provincial or regional RCMP, but it’s expected that a release will be coming prior to the weekend. Police tape remains in place to block of the alleyway and the residence, while the RCMP’s vehicles blocking the road have moved. Saskatchewan RCMP was also present at the scene.
