Sask Baseball HOF announce induction class of 2022
Like a full-count pitch with the bases loaded, the excitement is mounting for the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame’s (HOF) 37th Annual Induction Ceremony this summer in Battleford.
Taking place at the Alex Dillabough Centre on Aug. 20, the ceremony will commemorate the meaningful contributions to the game of 13 individuals, two teams and one family who will make up the Class of 2022.
Enshrined in the Individual Category will be Roger Blaquiere (Edam), Blair Bosch (Medicine Hat, Alta.), Kelvin Colliar (North Battleford), Myles Dezotell (Regina) Clayton Ermel (Lloydminster), Mary Anne Gaetz (Unity), Ron Knaus (Regina), Harry Lamberty (Nipawin), Mitch MacDonald (Regina), Jack Scott (Fairmont Hot Springs, B.C.), Elmer Torgerson (Eyebrow), Brooks Washenfelder (Yorkton), and Ernie Weimer (Fox Valley).
Inducted in the Team Category will be the Indian Head Rockets and Marquis Wheat Kings, with the Leo MacDonald Family from Regina inducted in the Family Category.
