May 31, 2022 | 9:10 AM

Pinehouse RCMP have arrested four individuals after finding an illegal firearm in their vehicle.

Police first received a suspicious vehicle report on the evening of May 21. They later found it, out of gas, on Highway 914. Officers found an illegally-modified, prohibited firearm in the vehicle and seized it, while one of the four occupants ran into the bush. Police Dog Services assisted in the arrest of the suspect.

As a result, 23-year-old Keiara Corrigal of Ile a la Crosse, 21-year-old Samuel Kiseyinewakup of Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation and 31-year-old Matthew Belly and 29-year-old Lonnie Ross McAdam from Lloydminster each face multiple charges. This includes unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm knowing it’s unauthorized.

Belly is also charged with two counts of failing to comply with release order condition and was arrested on warrants from Ile a la Crosse and Turtleford RCMP. Kiseyinewakup is also charged with four counts of failing to comply with release order conditions, arrested on a warrant from St. Albert RCMP in Alberta.

McAdam is also charged with failing to comply with a release order condition, as well as possessing a weapon contrary to an order and failing to surrender authorization and failing to comply with a probation order. He was arrested on a warrant from Lloydminster RCMP.

Kiseyinewakup appears in court in La Ronge on June 6, McAdam will appear in North Battleford on June 7, Belly in Pinehouse on June 15, and Corrigal will appear in court in Pinehouse on July 13.
