RCMP Report PT. 2: Assault arrests, car parts stolen
Several assault investigations led to arrests in the Battlefords over the past eight days.
Police arrested a 28-year-old woman for allegedly throwing hot water onto a 30-year-old male at a residence on the 1300 block of 103rd Street back on March 9. The victim had significant burns on his chest as a result and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Right now, we don’t know how significant the injuries are though the victim is expected to recover,” Sgt. Neil Tremblay told battlefordsNOW.
The accused, Kelsey Mooswa of North Battleford, was arrested the following day and appeared in court on March 11 for aggravated assault.
