Maidstone RCMP are investigating a break-in at residence in the Lloydminster region, where multiple firearms were stolen.
Monday evening, police responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence in the RM of Britannia, east of the Border City. Along with finding extensive damage to the residence, initial investigation determined five firearms were stolen.
Fortunately, no one was home at the time.
The ongoing investigation has assistance from the Battlefords RCMP Forensic Identification Service (FIS). Anyone with information about this break and enter can contact the Maidstone RCMP detachment, 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
