Living Sky to lift restrictions in response to province’s re-opening plan
Living Sky School Division announced it will lift its COVID-19 restrictions as the province is proceeding with a plan to re-open Saskatchewan and remove regulations in the days ahead.
The Living Sky School Board agreed to end restrictions shortly.
The school division will remove requirements for proof of vaccination or proof of negative testing for staff, trustees, and other individuals effective Feb. 14, and end its mandatory mask mandate as of March 1 to align with the expiry of the public health order.
“I want to thank our families for helping us successfully implement all of the precautions we have taken for the past two years to keep students and staff healthy and schools open,” Director of Education Brenda Vickers stated in Thursday’s release.
