RCMP seeking information related to Christmas Eve homicide

Feb 8, 2022 | 9:00 PM

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the homicides of Alyssa LeCaine and Daphne Bear.

The two women were discovered deceased after a house fire this Christmas Eve on 108th St. in North Battleford. No evacuations of neighbouring residences was required during mitigation efforts from the Fire Department and there was an increased presence of emergency responders in the days that followed.

The investigation has determined they both died prior to the fire, and not as a result of the blaze.

As the investigation continues, police are urging anyone with information about this incident to contact the Battlefords RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
