Saskatchewan gov’t offering humanitarian aid to Ukraine
The Government of Saskatchewan is providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
The government announced in a media release Monday it was making a $100,000 donation to the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.
That organization and the Canada-Ukrainian Foundation established the Humanitarian Relief Committee to prepare for what the government called “a humanitarian crisis ensuing from further Russian invasion of Ukraine.”
Russian troops have massed on the border with Ukraine, prompting many to believe an invasion is imminent.
