Update: Reyah Assiniboine has been located.

Battlefords RCMP are looking for two missing teenagers.

Fifteen-year-old Darcy Roy of North Battleford was last seen Jan. 22 on Carlton Trail. There have been unconfirmed sightings on the Saulteaux First Nation since then.

He’s described as 5-3, 140 lb, with brown eyes and short brown hair, wearing a black hoodie, black sweats and a turquoise toque when he was last seen. Police said they will provide a photo once it is available.

“We’re just waiting on the family to provide it.”

Also missing is 14-year-old Reyah Assiniboine of North Battleford. She was last seen on 18th Avenue during the early afternoon of Jan. 23. There has been some reported contact with her in North Battleford over the last two days, but her current whereabouts are not known.

Assiniboine is described as 5-4 and slim, with medium length brown hair.

Tremblay said while missing persons of this age are always given some priority, the search isn’t as urgent, given that both have been seen in the community and are with someone.

“We just haven’t been able to put our eyes on them ourselves or have a family member do that so we can be 100 per cent certain they’re okay,” he said.

The RCMP are asking anyone who has information on either of their whereabouts to contact the Battlefords detachment, 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
