UPDATE: As of Dec. 20, Javon Moosomin has been found and arrested on Dec. 17 in Edmonton, Alta. He will be transported back to Saskatchewan to appear in court. The date, time and location will be shared when available.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit continues to search for 21 year-old Javon Moosomin and are asking the public to report any information on his whereabouts.

Charged with second degree murder, as well as firearm possession and pointing a firearm, Moosomin’s warrant for his arrest was first issued on Oct. 21 and officers have been actively trying to locate and arrest him since. He may be in the Edmonton, Lloydminster or North Battleford areas, but this has not been confirmed.

Described as 5’11”, 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes, Moosomin has a tattoo containing letters and the numbers ‘916’ on one cheek and investigators believe he may now have a tattoo of a cross on his other cheek. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
