
Cellphone, computer stores staying busy during pandemic, despite shortages
Businesses dealing with computers, cell phones, tablets and other devices have fared much better than those in other sectors during the the COVID-19 pandemic, though collective effects could come about in the future.
Store owners in the Battlefords have reported little disruption to sales over the past year. Predrag Pavlovic, owner of Cell Phone & Computer Repair Comako in North Battleford, said it’s basically been business as normal, aside from mask wearing.
“I think it’s about the same [as before],” he said. “Little has changed.”
“I was closed for two months last year early on, but now it’s the same as before.”
