Sweetgrass First Nation reporting 20 active COVID-19 cases
Sweetgrass First Nation is currently dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak.
Dr. Ibrahim Khan, a regional medical health officer for Indigenous Services Canada, said in a statement the outbreak has been declared due to concerns about ongoing community transmission.
On Wednesday the First Nation indicated there were a total of 20 active cases, which included six new cases.
People are reminded to stay home if they develop symptoms.
