Sieben to represent PPC’s for Battlefords, Lloydminster

Aug 30, 2021 | 6:54 PM

Terry Sieben will represent the People’s Party of Canada in the Battlefords – Lloydminster riding.

In 2020, Sieben previously ran for the Kindersley seat in the provincial legislature, as a member of the Progressive Conservatives. His background includes more than a decade with CN Rail and 20 years in the bar and motel business.

Sieben called for a taking a stand against Justin Trudeau’s government in his campaign brochure, while criticizing the federal conservatives.

“The CPC is too busy is too busy figuring out how to win Quebec over and flip-flopping. Times call for a political reset towards our country’s Western values, not a financial resent that will sell us out to the United Nations,” the brochure reads.

Sieben is the fifth individual to announce candidacy in the riding, following Incumbent Rosemarie Falk (CPC) and fellow challengers Ken Rutherford (Maverick party), Larry Ingram (Liberal Party), Erik Hansen (NDP). An All-Candidates Forum will take place in the Battlefords on September 8 and in Unity on September 9.
